Tu want to understand.
You want to know why. Where it came from. What happened. You want the full story, the exact origin, the explanation that will finally give you peace. And until you have that explanation, you feel like you can't move forward.
But what if you could?
The trap of understanding
Understanding is useful. But it can become a prison. When you make understanding a prerequisite for healing, you become hostage to the story. And there are stories you will never know in full. There are silences in your family that no one will ever break. There are things that happened before you were born and left no trace.
And you keep waiting for the missing piece before you can move on.
Feeling is enough
The body doesn't need explanations. It needs to be heard. When you feel an old sadness, you don't need to know whose it is to honour it. When you feel fear with no object, you don't need to name it to let it pass.
Sometimes the work isn't to understand. It's to allow. To let what is asking to leave, leave. No report. No diagnosis.
Not everything needs to be understood to be released. Sometimes it's enough to feel, and let go.
